Syria Ambush Kills Two US Troops and a Civilian, Trump Says ISIS Will Not Be Spared

Syria: A deadly attack on US troops in central Syria on Saturday killed two US soldiers and an American civilian. Three other Americans were also injured in this attack. Strong reaction from the White House

After the attack, President Donald Trump said that this is an attack by ISIS and America will not ignore it. Speaking to reporters while leaving the White House, Trump said that America never takes attacks on its soldiers and civilians lightly. He expressed condolences to the families of those killed and said the injured were safe.

Defense Minister's strong statement

US Defense Minister Pete Hegseth also reacted sharply to this incident. He said the person who carried out the attack was killed by US allied forces. Hegseth said in clear words that America will find out and respond to whoever targets Americans. There was no softness in his statement.

ISIS threat still persists
